July 7th - Monday night's summer session was postponed - the ice at the Igloo was down. Sorry for the short notice but we did not find out until our coaches arrived to prepare. The sessions will continue as scheduled starting next Monday (14th).
July 6th - Summer Ice begins at the Igloo on Monday July 7th at 6:30PM and continues every Monday at 6:30PM through August 25. Cost is $110 per player and will be collected at the first session. This is an optional conditioning program that will focus primarily on skating and individual skills. You do not have to be a member of the Icemen to participate.
July 3rd - The dates for the 2008 Winter Invitational tournament have been set. The tournament will run on Saturday 12/27 and Sunday 12/28 with championship games on Monday 12/29. We will be hosting Squirts through Bantams. Please keep checking back - complete details and application forms will be posted as soon as they are available.
July 2nd - The Erie Icemen are proud to announce that the Cleveland Suburban Hockey League has voted to accept the Icemen as full members for the 2008/09 season. Our teams played an exhibition schedule with the CSHL last season and are looking forward to building on the relationships that were started. Our teams will be playing a complete pre-season and regular season schedule in the CSHL and are eligible for post-season play for the first time. Congratulations to the boys and girls of the Icemen!
